Task Force Teleconference Recap - April 6th

Just a recap on the latest conference call with the Task Force yesterday...
  • Tom and Stephanie to build budget for Summit process.
  • Created sub-team with Cara Rooney (Chair), Doug Pels and Bruno Trapikas to build the algorithm for Summit participation that includes key stakeholders and keeps to a cap of 125 participants.
  • Discussed Proposal from Sporting Strategies International as well as adding additional resource - Mark Haas.
  • Brought Sporting Strategies International on call to ask questions and discuss proposal.
  • Laid out structure of 5 sub-teams and Task Force members to send Tom preferences on their participation with the following teams:
    1. Web Survey (Design, define target audiences, mechanics of getting survey launched and reviewing outputs)
    2. Interviews (Design questionnaire, identify interview pools, conduct some of the interviews, summarize and synthesize conclusions)
    3. Logistics (Summit meeting details, selection of participants, working with staff on other requirements)
    4. Organization Review (By-laws,organization structure, EXCO roles & responsibilities, staff roles & responsibilities, budgets etc.)
    5. Programs and Services (Review current program and services provided by USASA, determine value proposition)

I am also keeping the Summit page at http://www.usasa.com/summit/ updated with information so check there often.

Alot of the work will be done pre-Summit, once the decision is made on the facilitator the entire process will be laid out. In the meantime.. in looking at the sub-teams created above does anyone feel we missed something?
